Branding

Branding a garage blues band called Seranade for the release of their debut album, Easterly Winds. The band produces some heavy yet melodic garrage-blues-rock music. To match with the tonality of the band we chose a visual language that has a rugged torn out and has the heaviness that matches their music.

Overview

The work included the design of the logo, the album cover, CD cover, a CD booklet, posters and a lyric video. The logo was developed from an illustration provided by the client. To match the rebellious nature of the band a phoenix was chosen as a symbol.

The album Easterly Wind spoke about the monotony and darkness of life. To symbolise that an illustrated depiction of the mythology of Sysiphus and his rock was used.
